Henry A. Thompson Dies

Henry A. Thompson, better known as "Tom” or “Thompson,” died on Feb. 2.
Henry A. Thompson is survived by his wife, Doreen Lloyd-Thompson; sons: Henrique A. Thompson, George A. Thompson and Heathcliff Thompson; daughters: Sonja T. Stokely, Dahlia Hendricks, Sandra Rivers and Sharon H. Mitchell; sisters: Rehenia Iona Romeo and Gwendolyn Williams; nieces: Judy Maynard, Lenise Toussaint, Sonia Jackson Archer, Rubina Jackson Rogers, Beryl Stephens, Cheryl Williams, Carol Thompson, Corliss Thompson Drew and Loretts Lloyd; nephews: Louis Jackson Jr., Kenneth Jackson Sr., Charlie Thompson and Kenneth Thompson; great nephews: Kenneth Mahoney, Dennis Mahoney, Clarence Mahoney, Wayne Mahoney, Kenneth Jackson Jr., Kelvin Rogers, Owen Jackson and Lloyd Maynard I; brothers-in-law: Lloyd Romeo, Lee Lloyd, Morris Lloyd; sisters-in-law: Winifred Christopher and Mary Webster; great nieces: Selene Jackson, Deneene Woods, Yvette Jackson, Darlene Jackson Bland Willisa Pinney, Laurie Fleming Corsbey, Raiffa Maynard, Asaunta Maynard, Marissa Toussaint, Florise Toussaint and Stephanie Jackson; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. He is predeceased by Heathcliff A. Thompson and Charles Thompson.
There will be a first viewing from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. A second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 13, at Kingdom Hall, Jehovah Hall. Interment will follow at Western Cemetery No. 1.
Funeral arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
