Man Allegedly Threatens Wife with Shotgun

Police on St. Croix arrested 44-year-old Ronald Christopher on Sunday and charged him with second-degree assault after he allegedly threatened his common law wife with a shotgun at their Frederiksted home.

The female, 44, told police that her common law husband threatened her with a shotgun after he saw certain text messages on her cell phone. According to police, several items in the home were damaged, including a bedroom door and a window.

Christopher was remanded to the custody of the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
