Historian Found Killed in His Home

Robert A. Johnson,73-year-old Danish author and historian, was found dead in his Estate Boetzberg home Wednesday morning about 8:15 a.m. by someone who worked at Johnson’s residence. Police said an autopsy would be performed to determine the cause of death but stated it was a homicide.
According to another source, Johnson’s car had been stolen and recovered Wednesday afternoon on St. Croix’s south side by a helicopter hired from Puerto Rico.
This was the territory’s fifth homicide of the new year, all of them on St. Croix.
