Brief: Police, Human Services Search for Missing Minor

Juvenile Bureau detectives on St. Thomas are looking for 14-year-old Terrikia Alexander, who was scheduled to return to the Virgin Islands Behavioral Services (VIBS) Girls Cottage on St. Croix after a Christmas break.

Human Services officials and VIPD have been searching on St. Thomas since Alexander was reported missing by her father on Dec. 27. A press release providing information on Alexander was released by Human Services on Jan. 6.

Alexander is 6 feet tall with a brown complexion, brown eyes and brown hair. When she left the cottage she was wearing a dark brown weave with pink streaks. She is known to frequent the Sugar Estate area on St. Thomas.

Anyone who knows of Alexander’s whereabouts or has seen her is asked to contact the VIPD Juvenile Bureau at 715-5541. Persons harboring or aiding Alexander can face criminal charges, according to police.
