Jeanne Peil of Norcross, Georgia, and St. Croix, Virgin Islands, died Jan. 8. Her service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church in Atlanta. A reception will be held following the service at the church. At a later date another memorial service will be held on St. Croix.
Mrs. Peil was a real estate agent for Metro Brokers. She was a member of St. Croix Reformed Church and sang in their choir. She attended Cross and Crown Lutheran Church in Atlanta. Jeanne was an accomplished painter and a member of the Palletteers of St. Croix. She embraced the island climate through an active physical lifestyle. Preceded in death by her husband, Bill Peil, she is survived by her son, Tom Peil of St. Croix; daughter, Sally Peil Vickers; her husband, Robin of The United Kingdom; daughter-in-law, Amy Peil of Atlanta, Ga.; brother, Dick Luglan and his wife, Angie, of Sugar Hill, Ga.; grandson, Will Peil; companion, George Novey of Norcross, Ga. and St. Croix; niece, Julie Allaman; and nephew, Steve Luglan.
Jeanne was a lady of grace and joy who was loved by all who knew her.
