Maria Perez, also known as “Mama,” died on Jan. 4, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. She was 94 years old.
She is survived by her sons: John and Rick; daughters: Inez, Cynthia and Kerena; grandchildren: Joy, Michael, Roy, Alheath & Phillip Sheridan, Jeff, Blondell and Pernell Potter, Jacqueline Potter, Shereen Francis, Beresford Small Jr., David Martin, Denzel Rivera, Manddelle Rivera, Manuel Rivera, Ariel Rivera, Isael Rivera and Franchera Rivera; 24 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services are pending.
