Two Injured in Scuffle in Downtown Cruz Bay

Two men were treated for superficial injuries at Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center Thursday after a fight near the Castaways Tavern in Cruz Bay. The scuffle took place around 3:45 a.m.

The two men refused to make a police report, a press release from the Police Department indicated.

The two suffered superficial injuries. One man had a wound on his left forearm and the other victim had a wound on the left side of his forehead.

After treatment, they were released from Myrah Keating.

Ed. note: An earlier version of this story quoted V.I. police as saying the incident happend at the Castaways Tavern. Castaways owner Dan Boudreau told the Source Friday that the police information was incorrect and the incident happened down the street from the bar.
