Art @ Top Hat welcomes Linda Pizzica, who again brings her Saravati Jewelry Collection for an opening show for Art Walk from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19. Originally a graphic designer, her passion for beautiful gemstones such as labradorite, amethst, moonstone, lapis, pearls and crystals is the basis for her jewelry creations, and her fascination with technique, culture and the mystery of beads, makes her jewelry so special.
Pizzica’s Silk Road Collection is made with a wide variety of gemstones and vintage beads collected from around the world, mostly from Tibet, Nepal, India, Afghanistan, Africa and the Far East. The Tibetan pendants date back 50-75 years, as do some of the pendants from Afghanistan and Kazak.
In addition, she is showing her signature "knot" necklaces, an original copyrighted design, for a more contemporary look.
