IGBA Presents “Solar, Wind and Saving Energy”

The Island Green Building Association (IGBA) will have a public presentation from 5:30 -6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, at The Marketplace on St. John, (second floor). It will also be IGBA’s annual meeting to elect board members.
Dan Boyd, who lives off the grid on Lovango Cay, will share his experience with sustainable electrical systems and how to conserve energy wisely. He will also give a glimpse into “Living Green on Lovango” and show us how we can do it on St. John.
He is living proof that WAPA bills are optional, and that everyone can have a comfortable lifestyle using renewable, sustainable energy. Don’t miss this interesting story about his life on the neighboring island and learn about renewable energy and power-saving tips that save money and our environment.
The public is invited to this free seminar. Call 227-1110 for more information.
