The V.I. Waste Management Authority advises the public that its administrative offices will be closed half-day to allow the employees to participate in employee training and appreciation functions. The St. Thomas Offices at the Department of Public Works and Wheatley Center will be closed at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22 and will reopen for business at 8 a.m. on Friday morning. During that time, all calls can be directed to the St. Croix Office at 718-4489.
The St. Croix Offices at Williams Delight and Five Corners will be closed at noon on Friday, Dec. 23 and will reopen for business at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 27. On Friday afternoon, all calls can be directed to the St. Thomas office at 777-3073, according to a press release issued Tuesday by VIWMA.
