Relay for Life Invites Cancer Survivors to Take Part

Join Relay for Life at 4 p.m. on Feb. 11 and 12 for 18 hours of friendship, food and fun at the Julius Sprauve School Field. The Relay for Life was created in honor of the courage and strength the survivors have in the fight against cancer and in memory of those who lost the battle. These survivors are honored at this event by walking their special Survivor’s Lap at the opening ceremony wearing their survivor’s T-shirt. This is followed by a wonderful Survivor’s Dinner at 6 p.m., to which your caregiver is also invited. In the evening, the survivors walk the candlelit track during the beautiful Luminary Ceremony.
You can register by calling Beverly Biziewski at 776-6833 or Carolyn Weinstock at 779 4556 or by filling out a registration form at one of the tables selling luminaries.
