N.Y. Empire Trio to Perform on St. John

St. John School of the Arts will present New York Empire Trio at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012. This very talented musical threesome includes Kalin Ivanov on cello, Entcho Tudorov on violin and Margrit Zimmermann on piano. Each member of this group has been the recipient of distinguished awards and has had prominent careers in their field as experienced chamber musicians as well as solo artists, traveling in the states and abroad.
Their repertoire ranges from the early classics to the music of today performing standard chamber music literature and little known masterworks with great success. After the group’s debut performance at Carnegie Hall, they were chosen to be Featured Artists of the Month at the Obama for the Arts and Entertainment Organization.
Tickets are $30 and are available at Connections and St. John School of the Arts.
