Man Stabbed at Cruz Bay Convenience Store

Police on St. John are investigating the stabbing of a 27-year-old man at a Cruz Bay convenience store shortly before 8 p.m. Monday.

According to a Police Department press release issued Wednesday, officers arrived on the scene after someone called to report a fight in progress at the store. They found the man lying on his back with stab wounds in his back and right arm. The victim told police he was attacked by an unknown suspect as he entered the store.

He was taken to Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center on St. John before being transferred to the Roy Schneider Medical Center on St. Thomas.
