A St. Thomas man was arrested around 6 p.m. Monday after he allegedly assaulted a person at a Cruz Bay bar and restaurant. When he was arrested officers found a small plastic bag of marijuana in his possession.
Alphonso Queeley, 41, of Hospital Ground, St. Thomas was charged with disturbance of the peace, simple assault, delaying and obstructing, aggravated assault and battery, and simple possession of marijuana.
His bail was set at $6,000. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
