St. Thomas Lighted Boat Parade Slated for Dec. 16

The Virgin Islands Charter Yacht League is now registering participants for this year’s holiday-themed Lighted Boat Parade, which will take place on Friday, Dec. 16, along with the Miracle on Main Street celebration, hosted by the St. Thomas-St. John Chamber of Commerce.

Awards will be presented based on most lights, best creative use of lights and most original decorations. Boats of all sizes and types are welcome to participate.
All participants will receive free dock space the day of the event at Crown Bay Marina. Pre –registration is required. Please contact Heidi Taylor at 774-2255.
A captain’s meeting will take place at Tickles Dockside Pub at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14. The pub will also play host to the awards ceremony immediately following the parade. Holiday revelers are invited to raise a glass of cheer and dance to the music of the Barefoot Davis Band from 7-10 pm.
