Louis J. Golden, also known as "Juny," of Estate Rose Gate died on Nov. 7, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 77 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine M. Golden; daughters: Jannah, Abdulkabir and Kay Willocks; sons: Louis G. Golden and John J. Golden; grandchildren: Hamzah Abdulkabir, Andrea Fuller, Andre Golden, Kamil Francois, E’ jaaz Abdulkabir, Kadeem Willocks, Austin Golden and Serena Wyatte; great-grandchildren: Ayanna Abdulkabir and Ibrahim Abdulkabir; daughters-in-law: Sherri Golden and Terri Golden; and son-in-law, Selvyn Willocks.
He is also survived by sister, Rita La Near; brothers: Arnold M. Golden, James P. Golden and Mario E. Golden; cousins: the Pedersens and Espinosas; special families: the Lang and Morales families; sisters-in-law: Virginia Knight, Pauline Figueroa, Rafaelita Torres, Carmen Golden, Hermoine Golden, Melanie Golden and Laverne Golden; brother-in-law, George Farchette; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
