All exams for real estate salesmen, brokers, barbers, beauticians, manicurists and estheticians have been postponed until further notice due to lack of an approved testing administrator. Individuals approved by their respective board or commission to sit the required exam will be informed of the upcoming testing dates as soon as a new testing agency has been identified, according to a press release from DLCA.
Prometric, the only testing service available locally and traditionally utilized by DLCA ceased to offer exams in the territory due to what they consider a low volume of test takers. The department has been actively engaged in identifying an alternate testing agency to create, administer and score the required exams, in accordance with established national standards. DLCA anticipates finalizing negotiations and securing an alternate testing agency by early December.
