VIPD Investigate Stabbing at Peter’s Rest Dump

St. Croix police are investigating the nonfatal stabbing of a man that occurred on Monday morning near Peter’s Rest dump site. The suspect was wearing a black mask and allegedly caused multiple lacerations to the victim.

Just before 4 a.m., police were called to investigate a stabbing that occurred near Peter’s Rest dump site. The victim told police he was sleeping in the area, when he heard an unknown person shout and then he felt himself being stabbed.

The victim said he then got up and ran. He said the suspect was dressed in all black and was wearing a black mask. The victim was treated for multiple lacerations at Juan F. Luis Hospital.
