Komorr M. Donastorg Dies

Komorr M. Donastorg, better known as “Fyaman,” and “Komo-Bash,” died on Oct. 18.

Komorr M. Donastorg is survived by his son, K’Jai Donastorg; mother, Maria D. Concepcion; father, Alberto M. Donastorg, Jr. (deceased); brothers: Alberto V. Donastorg III, Vasheo Donastorg, Kai Brin, Jeffrey Carty Jr.; sisters: Temica Donastorg, Zoreena Donastorg, L”Orielle Benjamin, Leanna Carrington and Chantelle Jordan; grandparents: Luz Maria and Gabino Concepcion, Noel and Al Donastorg Sr. (deceased); adoptive grandparents: Jesús and Ana Ilarraza; fiancé, K’Nesia Brathwaite (deceased); and special mothers: Lyra Anthony, Denisa Jordan, Angelina Bryan and Linda Carty.
He is also survived by great-grandmother, Gladys Akins James; great uncle, Ricky James; great aunt, Paulina James; uncles: Pablo Concepcion Sr., Lorenzo Donastorg and Alanzo A. Donastorg; aunts: Trecia Donastorg, Thuesla Donastorg, JoAnn Donastorg, Norma Concepcion, Elisa Concepcion (deceased), Millicent Parris, Ornette Parris-Martin, Nandi Sekou, Diane Demme; nieces: J’Nya, Ja’Lana, Te’Lana, Ju’Naisha, Marlene, J’Nelle Lake; nephews: J’Kai, Kaydin Garcia, Floyd Lake Jr.; special friends: Timythe Charles, Vincent Wiltshire Sr., Adaney Brown and Jaleem Charles; and many relatives too numerous to mention.
Funeral service will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, at Holy Family Church.
Burial will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Charlotte Kimelman Cancer Institute or the Holy Family Church in memory of Komorr Donastorg.
The family of Komorr Donastorg wishes to thank those who have assisted them in any way during their time of bereavement; may God Bless you abundantly for your kindness. After the funeral services, the family wishes to retire privately.
