Caribbean Chorale Readies for Christmas Concert

The Caribbean Chorale Inc., Ambassadors of Choral Music of the Virgin Islands, will celebrate 45 years of entertaining the community with classical, cultural and festive music at their Christmas concert to be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Wesley Methodist Church in Anna’s Retreat. The youth choir is comprised of 22 youngsters and is directed by Francis Callwood.
In their 45th year of providing a myriad of music from conventional to local traditional, this year’s performance entitled “Sharing the Light of Christmas” will include a harmonious medley of selections to reflect the spirit of the Holidays. Directed by Monet Davis, the chorale will sing works by Kirby Shaw, John Rutter, and Emily Lund as well as some classic Christmas favorites. Superior Court of the Virgin Islands Rising Stars Steel Orchestra will accompany them.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children (at the door) age 12 and under. Tickets for adults are also available from chorale members, Nora’s Beauty Palace, and He Say She Say Boutique in TuTu Park Mall.
