Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve the following the following crimes. If you know something, say something.

St. John: On Monday, Sept. 19 at about 7 p.m. in the area of Enighed, Gerwain Boynes stated that he and another male were arguing over whether or not Boynes stole the male’s cell phone. An altercation ensued, and Boynes was stabbed several times. He had to be transported to the Schneider Regional Medical Center on St. Thomas. The suspect is described as being black, slim, and between 5 feet 9 inches and 6 feet tall. He was wearing tan shorts and a button-down shirt at the time of the assault. If you know anything about the circumstances surrounding this, let us know.

St. Thomas: On Friday, Sept. 2 at 7:35 p.m. in the area of Anna’s Retreat, a male was robbed of more than $100 worth of jewelry. The perpetrator fled on foot; when the victim ran after him, another individual fired a shot at the victim. The robber reportedly frequents the area of Anna’s Retreat and is known to be armed and dangerous. The 25-year-old suspect is black, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 155 lbs.

St. Croix: Over the past several weeks, St. Croix has been plagued by a number of burglaries in estates Little Fountain, Belvedere, Castle Burke, Barren Spot, Strawberry, Salt River and other mid-island communities leading to La Valle. These burglaries have occurred mostly between the hours of 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., with the burglars taking electronics, jewelry, appliances and other items. If you have any information at all about these burglaries, let us know.
