Arnold Everly Jeffers Sr. Dead at 76

The family of Arnold Everly Jeffers Sr., age 76, announces his passing on Sept. 18. Arnold was born on the island of Nevis, West Indies, and relocated to St. Croix, where he lived for the last 40 years. He was well known for the beautiful home he constructed and his expert bowling skills. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Fonselia Jeffers; children: Cynthia, Ellerton, Eason, Diane and Arnold; grandchildren: Akeem, Emrith, Ajahni, Dyanna, Cristen and Nysa; sisters: Lelita, Violet, Elvie, Cameola, Ivy, Susan and Aldith; brothers: Stanley and Carlyle; brothers-in-law: Avondale Robinson, Robert Grant and Melvin Grant; sisters-in-law: Lillian Jeffers, Joycelyn Grant, Jacklyn Johnson, Leonie Gordon, Nelly Brandy and Hillarine Brandy; the Harris Family, Nora and family, the McFarlande family, the Willock family, the Joseph family, the Theophane family, the Nurse family, the Aiken family, Pete Charles and family, Warner Riviere and family, Carlton Williams and family, the Archibald family, Vincent Halbert and family, the Methodist Church family and the Tropical Ten Pins Bowling family; as well as many special cousins, godchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 30, at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Estate Richmond. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
