The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center will offer a course for individuals interested in acquiring basic bookkeeping skills. Introduction to Bookkeeping will be held 1 – 4 p.m. every Saturday starting Oct. 22 at the UVICELL Center in Frederiksted, St. Croix.
Participants will learn to perform basic bookkeeping functions such as journalizing and posting business transactions, preparing basic financial statements, reconciling bank statements, preparing payroll and much more.
