Daisy Amelia Charles Dies at 70

Daisy Amelia Charles of Estate Strawberry Hill on Sept. 12 died at her residence. She was 70 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Theresita Francis; daughter, Judy Clarke, sons: Joseph Clarke Jr., Dale Ross, Julien Cumberbatch and Murchison Charles; grandchildren: Brian McCarthy, Kareema Clarke, Aisha Clarke, Joseph Clarke III, Jamel Ross, Kareem Ross, Dehlia Ross, Kamilah Ross, Kiwaun Cumberbatch, Mosiah Aly Cumberbatch, Jewel Cumberbatch, Jahlryah Cumberbatch, Akeel Brown and TeJani Charles; great-grandchildren: Coby McCarthy, Freddie McCarthy and Khloe Ross; daughters-in-law: Norma Cumberbatch and Decima Lockhart; sisters: Eleanor Charles, Doreen Georges, Lorraine Gauther and Marilyn Lynch; brothers: Neville Georges and Lloyd Georges; special friends: Frandelle Appleton and family, Sis. Dawn Millington and family, Sis. Fortunata Pascal and family, The First Assembly of God Church family, and Diane and family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that those in attendance wear festive colors.
There will be a viewing at 9 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 23 at the First Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
