Volunteers are needed to assist with the fifth Project Homeless Connect to be hosted by the United Way St. Thomas-St. John and the Department of Human Services. The event will be held on St. Thomas at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center on Friday, Oct. 14, and on St. Croix at the Department of Agriculture Fair Grounds on Friday, Oct. 28. Both events will begin at 9 a.m.
Donations of clothing will be accepted on St. Thomas at the Ebenezer Gardens in Hospital Ground and toiletries at the Yellow Cedar residence by Sept. 23. On St. Croix clothing will be accepted by the St. Croix Mission Outreach and toiletries at Lutheran Social Services by Oct. 14.
