Anthon W. Hodge Dies

Anthon W. Hodge died on Aug. 28.

He is survived by his wife, Gwenette Hodge; sons: Michael, Cordell (deceased),Keith, Anton “Saki’” and David “Stuffy” Hodge; daughters: Cheryl Hodge and Anita Hodge-Thompson; sisters: Petronella Evelyn and Valentine Smith; brother, Felix Petty Sr. (deceased); daughters-in-law: Mariath “Maddie” Hodge, Danielle Hodge and Monifa Evans; son-in-law, Antonio Thompson; grandchildren: Michanne, Je’Von, Jamal, Shaquille, ShQuon, Shenika, Keitisha and Tahje Hodge, Mekia, Teshera and Erik Russell and Aiden Thompson; great grandchild, Ja’Kayla Brown; brother-in-law, Lisle A. Evelyn Sr.; sister-in-law, yola Petty-Simmonds; nieces: Veronica Smith, Jennifer Richardson, Sandra Petty, Susan Rogers, Sally Petty-Tyson, Shena Simmonds, Lisa Ann Evelyn and Dee Dae Evelyn.
There will be a viewing from 9-9:45 a.m. and a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 9, at St. Andrew’s Church. Burial will follow at the Smith Bay Eastern Cemetery.
All arrangements are by Turnbull’s Funeral Home.
