Agenda:
The committee will make use of a public informational approach to retrieve testimony on the valuable operational administration with the Department of Health. Discourse will focus on performance-bases accountability measures of the various support agencies and leadership therein.
Invited testifiers will discuss the impact of services as a result of budget reduction measures.
1) Implementation of the cancer registry
2) Department of Health’s responsibility in environmental regulations
3) Emissions control: policies and procedures
4) Zoning designations: non-conforming business operations and regulations thereof
5) Behavioral Health Services
6) Ambulance care and coverage
7) Medicare financial
There will be an additional commentary on the enactment of a draft strategic plan under the former commissioner. Remarks will pertain to past and future benefits of the plan relative to cost consideration provided in the access and delivery of care for the community.

Bill No. 29-0125 – An Act amending Title 17, V.I.C., to require Board of Education approval for transferring a public school principal or closing a public school and for other purposes
