Rotating outages were in effect all day Monday as the result of a fuel leak in unit No. 23 at WAPA’s Randolph Harley Power Plant.

The rotation schedule was sent out throughout the day and into the evening.

At 5:15 p.m. a final rotation was announced for the rest of the evening if necessary.

The leak has been repaired, according to WAPA Public Information officer Kinila C. Paige. She said service to all feeders would be restored once all checks were completed and the unit is put online.

If necessary, the rotation will be as follows:

From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., the following feeders will experience service interruptions:

Feeder 7E (St. John) – Bordeaux, Cruz Bay, East End and neighboring areas;

Feeder 8A – Estate Ross, Garden Street, Savan, Lytton’s Fancy and neighboring areas; and

Feeder 9A – Main Street, Back Street, parts of Subbase and neighboring areas.

If necessary, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. the following feeders will experience outages:

Feeder 8B – Hospital Ground, Mafolie, Magens Bay, Skyline Drive and neighboring areas; and

Feeder 9C – Brookman, Estate Charlotte Amalie, Mariendahl and neighboring areas.
