Animal Care Center Seeks Items for Annual Flea Market

The Animal Care Center of St. John (ACC) is soliciting clean, unbroken goods for its annual fall flea market. Although the event is still two months away, ACC needs to collect sale items now. Kitchenware, tools, sports and exercise equipment, books, furniture, decorator items, clothing, books, children’s toys — all in very good condition — are welcome. The storage trailer is only 50 percent full!
For large item pickup, call ACC board member Oriel Smith at 643-2998 (cell). Small items can be taken to the shelter on the Library Road in Cruz Bay. "No Fleas, Please" will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Winston Wells ballfield in Cruz Bay. Every dollar collected goes directly to the care, housing, food, and veterinary care of St. John’s homeless cats and dogs.
