FRC Offers ‘Rite of Passage’ for Boys

The Family Resource Center’s Family and Youth Crisis Intervention Programis holding registration for its “Rites of Passage”component. The program, funded by the Department of Human Services,is free, but space is limited.
The “Rites of Passage” componentis currently accepting registration from parents who have sons ages 9 to 12years.It will be offering field activities, tai-chi, computer literacy, social development/socialization skills, cultural literacy, and ecological art. The classes are from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday beginning on Sept. 10 until theclosing ceremony on Saturday,Dec. 10.
