Summer Basketball League Semi-Finals Scores Given

Shanel Caines went off for 18 points to lead Aint Gonna See Us Fall (AGSUF) over Concrete, 72-56 in the semifinals of ZeroTolerance’s 16-18 Summer Basketball League. The win sets up the much anticipated finals between Blazers and AGSUF on Friday afternoon. Addis Elliot and Jahmari Rivera led Concrete with 20 and 13 points respectively.
In 13-15 action, All Coast Ballers held off top-seeded Defend Ours, 25-21. Jikoy Leycock scored all 8 of his team high points in the first quarter. Johnajade Hodge led Defend Ours with 11 points. Behind the dynamic duo of Dominic Purpura and Devonte Anthony, Jah Youths edged Blazers, 47-46, in overtime. Purpura had a game high 18 and Anthony tallied 14 points. Jah-Gamba Felix led the Blazers with 11 points and Kyle Edward added 10. In 9-12 Division, Come 2 Defend routed Jah Youths, 37-25. Aniquah
Swan led Come 2 Defend with 10 points and Isaiah Harvey led Jah Youths with 10.
Friday’s Schedule
16-18 AGSUF vs. Blazers at 5 p.m.
Governmental and Industrial Co-Ed League
Airport I vs. Education at 7:15 p.m.
Fire vs. Health 5 minutes after 8 p.m.
* The winner of each game moves on to the finals that will begin on Saturday July 16. The finals will be a best two out of three series format.

9-12 Come 2 Defend vs. Lil Lakers at 4:30 pm
13-15 All Coast Ballers vs. Jah Youths 5 minutes after
Game 1 of Governmental and Coed League Finals 5 minutes after
