Thomas E. Griffith died on Friday, June 10, at Schneider Regional Medical Center. He was 84 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ray Griffith; sons: Oswald, Geoffrey, Clayton and Andrew Griffith, and Sylvester Mulrain; daughters: Geneva Weekes and Elouise Griffith Bradshaw; brother, Michael Martin (London); sisters: Mary Jeffers (London) and Frances Williams (Curacao); grandchildren: Jacque, Sophia and Jasmine Crumpton, Melanie, Germaine, Latasha, Mia, Charrisma, Glenroy, Alvin, Konasha, Isaiah and Demari Griffith; great-grandchildren: Janai, Adanaya, Elijah and Malik; niece, Shirley Martin (London); sister-in-law, Margaret Martin (London); daughter-in-law, Merla Griffith; cousins: John Tuitt, Ellen Ryan, Rose Williams and Evangelist Mildred Robinson; good friends: William Payne, the Innis family and the Lawrence family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a first viewing held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, at the City Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be at Eastern Cemetery.
