The St. Croix Federation of Teachers Scholarship Committee is proud to announce
the following recipients of its 2011 Scholarship Awards: , .

~ Claudine Lacdao of St. Croix Educational Complex
~ K’Licia Martin of St. Croix Central High School
~ Ivia Rivera of St. Croix Central High School
St. Croix Federation of Teachers, AFT Local 1826, awarded five $1,000 one–time scholarships in 2011. Requirements included: submission of a transcript for the preceding seven semesters; a letter of recommendation; a letter from the applicant giving biographical data and present education aspirations; a letter of acceptance to a post secondary school; a minimum 3.0 overall GPA; submission of a questionnaire; evidence of at least 50 hours of community service; and all applicants must be a dependent of an AFT member.
