Ira Patrick Belboda, also known as "Twats" and "Magwa," died on Sunday, May 15, at the Governor Juan F. Hospital. He was 58 years old.
He survived by his brothers: Daril Rogers, Neville Francis and Byron Peterson; sisters: Marilyn Josiah, Jennifer Burt and Sandra Francis; nephews: Livingston Edingborough, Elvis Edingborough, Lionel Maynard, Liviston Burnet, Rashan Francis, Akiel and Junoir Davey, Jason Burt, Paul Carty, Keithroy Peterson, Dr. Oswald Peterson, Erstein Peterson and Bryan Peterson; nieces: Kema, Claudia, Ishanda, Paula Thomas, Nicole Walters, Jahminah Walters, Mary Francis, Shakera Davey, Dale Burt, Paula Burt, Pheona Burt, Twana Burt, Earlein and Alicia Peterson; sister-in-law, Joan Peterson; aunts: Sylvia Belboda and Avis Rodgers; uncles: Ivan, Wendel and Norris Rogers; great nieces and nephews; special friends: Melrose, Malcom Naldeen and Cold One; as well as cousins and other relatives too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 27, at St. John Episcopal Church, Christiansted. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
