Lease agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands and Modesto Hernandez d/b/a Modest Metals
Lease agreement between the Government of the Virgin Islands and Commercial Security Services Ltd. Inc.
Bill No. 29-0075 – An Act amending Title 33 V.I.C., chapter 111, to establish the St. Thomas Capital Improvement Fund.
Bill No. 20-0029 – An Act amending Title 33 V.I.C., chapter 111, to establish the Veterans Funeral Expenses and Burial Revolving Fund and for other related purposes.
Bill No. 29-0081 – An Act amending Title 20, V.I.C., section 425, to increase the motor vehicle rental surcharge to $5 and to use the revenues generated from the increased surcharge for the completion of certain capital projects. At the completion of the specified projects, the monies shall be equally disbursed between the St Thomas, St. John and St. Croix Capital Improvement Project Funds.
Bill No. 29-0079 – An Act appropriating $100,000 to the V.I. Red Cross for operational expenses.
Bill No. 29-0072 – An Act appropriating $300,000 to the Department of Public Works for construction of a Vendors’ Plaza on St. John.

The purpose of this meeting is to inform the body and the public of the existence and contents of the 2008 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, and to obtain testimony regarding the steps taken by the Administration, the CEDS Committee and its various subcommittees, to implement the strategy as well as any obstacles encountered in attaining the goals and objectives established in the plan.

Bill No. 29-0024 – An Act amending Title 14, V.I.C., chapter 113, to define assault rifles and to set forth stiffer penalties for crimes involving the use of or possession of an unlicensed weapon, and amending Title 23, section 451, to define assault rifle, and amending Title 5, section 3711, to prohibit discretionary sentencing for crimes involving the use or possession of an unlicensed weapon.
Bill No. 29-0031 – An Act amending Title 18, V.I.C., chapter 13, section 263, restoring the right of felons to vote
Bill No. 29-0035 – An Act authorizing to executive branch to enter into a memorandum of understanding with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection and the Transportation Security Administration to obtain information concerning firearms or other dangerous weapons, substances and items which have been declared by passengers entering the territory.
Bill No. 29-0046 — An Act amending Title 20, V.I.C., to set forth new fines for traffic violations and to increase existing penalties for traffic violations.
