Final Race in Kids Triathlon Set for Sunday

The sixth and final race in the Kids’ Triathlon (Kids Tri VI) race series will be run at 8 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, at Cramer’s Park. This swim/bike/run event is open to kids ages 5-15. The entry fee is $5. The distances of the race vary depending on the age group.
Age group (5-6): swim .25m / bike .5 mile / run .25 mile
Age group (7-8): swim 50m / bike .5 mile / run .25 mile
Age group (9-11): swim 100m / bike 1 mile / run .5 mile
Age group (12-15): swim 200m / bike 3 miles / run 1 mile
Swim goggles, bike helmets, sneakers and a parent’s signature are required to join the race.
The Virgin Islands Triathlon Federation will have bikes available if they are contacted in advance. Trophies will be given to the top finishers in each age group and there will be raffle prizes for all.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. at the park.
