Seven men were arrested on St. Croix over the weekend and charged with drug possession and other offenses, the V.I. Police Department reported Wednesday.
The seven were arrested by a VIPD saturated patrol and were booked and processed in the Special Operations mobile van.
Those arrested include:
• David Hanley, age 33, of Estate Sion Farm, arrested at about 11:45 p.m. Friday and charged with simple possession of a controlled substance. His bail was set at $1,000.
• Leddiel Williams, 22, of Estate Two Williams; Jovan James, 28, of Estate Smithfield; Joseph O. Brown, 25, of Estate Upper Love; Peter Smith Sr., 55 of Estate Water Gut; and Craig O. Brodhurst, 41, of Estate Whim, all arrested Saturday at different times and locations during the night and charged with possession of controlled substances. Bail was set for each of the suspects at $1,000.
• Jude Etienne, age 22, of Estate Upper Love, arrested at about 1:45 a.m. Sunday and charged with simple possession of a control substance, identified as cocaine. His bail was set at $1,000.
