Julius E. Sprauve School will hold its 14th annual benefit gala on Saturday, April 16, at Caneel Bay Resort, St. John.
“Our theme for this year is, “Together We Can Make a Difference as Our Children Reach for the Stars!”The Gala Committee has agreed to enhance our school community through the renovation and conversion of the current computer lab from the use of Mac equipment to a PC Lab; an investment in electronic books for our secondary Pre-Advance Placement Class, English Language Learners (ELL) and elementary Gifted and Talented Class; and replacement of current student lockers. Additionally, we hope to finally complete our fitness center, a carryover from last year initiatives. Tickets for this event sell out quickly so do not delay to make your reservation,” said Principal and Gala Chair Mario Francis.
Tickets are $100 per person and will be on sale at various locations in Cruz Bay as well as the school office until April 15. The customary raffle tickets and silent auction prizes will be available for purchase. Any businesses or organizations interested in donating products, services or merchandise are asked to contact the school at 776-6336 and speak with Cleameana Duncan or Ivy Scatliffe-Lynton.
