Four Arrested for Beach Robbery

Police on St. Thomas arrested four men who robbed a man of his gold chain at gunpoint on Vessup Beach.

Teron Lashley, 21; Tasim Lashley,18; Ajani Smith, 19; and Kariff Daley, 20, were all charged with first-degree robbery shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, officers travelling to the scene were advised by 911 Central Dispatch of a white Toyota Rav 4 leaving the area. Officers saw the vehicle with the four suspects inside, pursued it and stopped it on Emerald Hill. When the vehicle was stopped the stolen chain was thrown from the vehicle, police said.

Bail for each suspect was set at $75,000 and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
