Parent Empowerment Conferences Scheduled

The University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities of the University of the Virgin Islands will hold the eighth annual Parent Empowerment Conference will bring together parents and teachers who are working together for the academic success of their children. The conferences will be held on St. Thomas and St. Croix and are sponsored by the V.I. University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities of the University of the Virgin Islands, the Inter-Island Coalition for Change Inc., V.I. Family Network on Disabilities (VI FIND), and V.I. Parent Uniting Schools and Homes (VI PUSH).
On St. Thomas, the conference will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 pm. on Friday, Feb. 25, at UVI Administration and Conference Center. On St. Croix, it will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, at UVI North West Wing Great Hall.
