Golden Grove Security Drill to Suspend Outside Access

All deliveries, appointments and other activities at the Golden Grove Correctional Facility will be suspended for three days, beginning Thursday morning, while the prison conducts a security drill.

Julius C. Wilson, director of the Bureau of Corrections, announced Wednesday that the security drill will begin at 7 a.m. Thursday and continue until 6 a.m. Sunday. During that time, all programs, services, appointments, deliveries and activities will be suspended, he said, apologizing for the inconvenience.

Those who need to reschedule an appointment or delivery can call Warden Keith Francois at 340-778-0400.
