Police on St. Thomas making a routine traffic stop Wednesday discovered drugs in a vehicle and arrested the two men in the car.

Arrested were Glenn Sylvester, 25, of Estate Smith Bay, and Rudy Jeanne, 23, of Estate Bovoni.

The vehicle, a 2001 Mitsubishi containing the two men, had been reported leaving an area where shots were reportedly fired.

Officers made a traffic stop on the vehicle and confiscated crack cocaine and marijuana, according to the V.I. Police Department.

Sylvester was charged with possession of a controlled substance, while Jeanne was charged with constructive possession of a controlled substance.

Bail for each man was set at $10,000 and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
