VIWMA Postpones Work on LBJ Force Main Replacement

The VI Waste Management Authority advises the residents of the LBJ Housing Community and surrounding areas that the VIWMA and its contractor, GEC LLC, have postponed the work on the final portion of Phase I of the replacement of the LBJ force main.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the work on the LBJ force main, which included shutting down the pump station, bypassing over Long Reef, connecting the newly installed force main line and work at the pump station, has been postponed. The public will be notified when this project has a new start date and the proper signs will be posted.
