VIPD Make Arrests for Domestic Violence, Grand Larceny

Police on St. Croix Wednesday reported two arrests in separate incidents. One man was charged with assaulting his wife, while a second suspect was arrested for allegedly stealing items from a vehicle, according to a news release from the V.I. Police Department.

• Alex Prentice, 27, was arrested around 7:35 p.m. Tuesday and charged with aggravated assault and battery domestic violence. He is believed to have hit his wife’s head against a car window on South Shore Road. Bail was denied due to the domestic charges.

• Enox Duncan, 41, was arrested around 1:31 a.m. Monday and charged with grand larceny for stealing a cell phone and CD from a van. His bail was set at $35,000.

Both suspects were remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
