Monica Joseph Looby, also known as "Miss King," of Cane Brake Apartments died on Jan. 9. She was 86 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Cherlie Looby Tonge and Casandra Looby Martin; son, Hilroy Richards; grandchildren: Lisa Rose Richards Santiago, Karen Richards Guzman, Carol Richards Joseph, Oral Richards, Jahvaid Francis, Moesha and Monet Martin, and Najee and Jahmal Tonge; daughter-in-law, Althea Richards; son-in-law: Feris Martin; sister, Veronic Wehner; nieces: Vincear Wehner Spencer, Joycelyn and Dafodill Wehner and Ursular Roberts; nephews: Ean Phillip, Bingham, Alexis, Ordiley Joseph, Osworth and John Wehner Jr.; special friend: Bernice Peters; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. and a funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. at the Bethel Seventh-day Adventist Church, Williams Delight. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
