Janette Cuffy Lawrence Dies at 66

Janette Cuffy Lawrence of Mt. Pleasant died on Jan. 5, in New York. She was 66 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph Lawrence; daughters: Justina, Monique, Claricia, Endlyne and Veronica; sons: Joseph Jr., Timothy and Wallace; grandchildren: Renissa and Kyandra Richardson, Jahnilahm Brianna and Linitty Lawrence, Jaylon Blanchard and Rianna Lawrence Francis; and brothers: Daniel, Joseph, Anthony, Peter, Clephas, Paul and Raymond Cuffy.
She is also survived by nieces: Andrenette, Shirley, Deci, Donilla and Valerie Cuffy, Kaphleen Ford, Caroline Eolie, Brenda Christian and Cathy Cuffy-Langford; nephews: Oscar, Daff, Kurt, Deek, Antonio, Johnson Alexander and Kent; special friends: Alberta Willie, Alexandria Humphreys, Elizabeth Hendrington, Patricia Shanislas, Carmerne and Julia Lansquist, Phillip, Bro. and Sis. Papy Donalyn, Catherine Burton, Bro. Fanus, Pastor Jules and family, Matthew Gilbert, Eustace Prescott, Ruben Polydore, Mr. Springee, Fountain of Life Prayer Group (St. Ann’s Church) and Church of God of 7th Day; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, at James Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
