League of Women Voters Has Luncheon for New V.I. Senators

The League of Women Voters of the Virgin Islands will host its traditional luncheon for the newly sworn in senators. This year, the league welcomes the members of the 29th Legislature of the V.I. at noon, Monday, Jan. 31, at the Palms Court Harbourview.
The president of the Legislature is invited to deliver the plans and objectives of the newly formed legislative body, and the president of the league will present a statement of the organization’s “Concerns and Recommendations to the 29th Legislature.” The public is encouraged to attend and mingle with the new senators.
