Louvina Lang Dies at 98

Louvina Lang
Louvina Lang, also known as "Mother Lang," of Estate Two Williams died on Jan. 6, at her residence. She was 98 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Thelma Williams and Everna King; sons: David Lang Sr., Rueben and Rubio Lang; grandchildren: David Lang Jr., Gregory and Kevin Williams, Duane Lang, Dynel Lang, Larissa, Amara, Tiffany and Yolanda Lang, Adrienne Williams, Desmond King Jr., Andre King and Devi Bey; great-grandchildren: Alexander, Joshua, Hadiyah, Kadence, Jordynne, Sophia and Maasai Lang, Paul Arnold III and Alani Arnold, Kayla, Kezia and Kevin Williams Jr., Desmond King III, and Breanna, Jasmine, Terrance, Niaja, Stylin, Rakeem, Ajani, Jameel, Rashaud, Rasheed, Rakieda, Reniece, Larice and George Williams, Jr.
She is also survived by daughters-in-law: Agnes, Dolores and Celeste Lang; sons-in-law: Desmond King Sr.; niece, Kathleen Harris; nephews: Sylvin Joseph and Abraham Bennett; great nephews: Arthur and Terrance Joseph; cousins and other relatives: Joan Saunders and Ethla Williams, Linda Massicott, Kaleen Harris, Helen Liburd, the Chapman family, the Parris Family of Grove Place, the Meyers family, the Bruno Brun staff, Aron Henry and family, Muriel Barnes, the Joseph family and Sister Hazel; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 14, at the Southside Pentecostal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
