CAHS Reminds Public of Student Preference in Use of Track

Charlotte Amalie High School reminds the general public of the need for consideration of the students regarding the use of the track. “With the start of school in this new year, several athletic activities will be resuming on the CAHS campus. Because many of our athletes are enrolled in the after-school program, Higher Heights, their practice time is further delayed. Persons from the community who use the CAHS track in the afternoon are hereby advised that the CAHS track team must practice from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

“This request is being made for safety reasons and to ensure that student athletes can train without interference and without posing a risk to the safety of others, especially small children who accompany their parents on the track. We are asking for the full cooperation of the public on this matter,” Principal Carmen Howell said.
