Police on St. Thomas arrested two people on domestic charges during the holiday weekend, according to an announcement from the V.I. Police Department.
Foster Webster, 20, was arrested around 9:10 p.m. Saturday, Christmas Day, and charged with aggravated assault and battery domestic violence for slapping a 23-year-old female victim while she held her child.
The victim, who is related to the suspect, was scratched on her forehead. The incident occurred in Hospital Ground.
Roberto Browne, 39, was arrested around 10:40 p.m. Friday, Christmas Eve, and charged with third-degree assault domestic violence, illegal discharge of a firearm and aggravated assault and battery/domestic violence for punching his wife in the mouth and firing several shots at his stepson in Estate Thomas.
Bail for both suspects was denied due to the domestic violence charges and they were remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
